Holy Trinity, St Andrews

This is where we worship--Holy Trinity of St Andrews. It is a five minute walk from our house, and as you can see from the photos, it is situated in the heart of town.

Founded in 1412, the church has a rich history. John Knox, the Scottish reformer preached in this church.

In keeping with the trend in the United Kingdom, the church was on a slow, steady decline until about two years ago when a young, evangelical pastor with boundless energy and contagious vision was installed as pastor. His presence has attracted many PhD divinity students and their families from the University of St Andrews.

Marietta and I have already found ourselves actively involved in the life of the church. Marietta leads a Bible study for college students; I help lead worship on given Sunday nights and help teach Sunday school classes for the 6-11 year olds; in addition we are involved in a couples Bible study.
