Last year Bruce Longenecker graciously invited me to co-edit a book with him about poverty, wealth and economics in the New Testament. It was a joy and a privilege to work with Bruce, and I learned a lot about the publishing world along the way. The book came out this past November just before Thanksgiving. It is called Engaging Economics: New Testament Scenarios and Early Christian Reception. (If you decide to buy it, all proceeds go to World Vision!).
I was delighted to see that both Bruce and the book received some attention in a recent CNN article regarding the prosperity gospel, which you can read here.
