It has been a really fun week reading the Passion Narratives with my kids. They have had some amazing observations and have asked some very profound questions. Perhaps the most profound statement came from Chloe, who said: "Easter is really hard to understand".
"What do you mean by that?", I replied.
"Well, I understand why Jesus died--He died for us, for our sins. But at the same time I don't understand why Jesus died."
May the mystery of God's love for us continue to cultivate wonder and worship in our hearts and minds!
