McNight on Atonement

Over on Jesus Creed Scot McNight has been writing some interesting posts on atonement. McNight is a professor of New Testament at North Park and is involved (not uncritically) in the emergent church movement. One of the major questions that emergent church leaders are wrestling with has to do with the nature and meaning of the atonement.
